This photo above belongs to Frances Ingram (now aged 90). The house stood more or less where the Milner Drive village green is now. Her brother Stan Brown (he’s now 88) was born there. Frances was not born there but lived there as a child.
 
The area was known as “Barbers’ Yard” or “Post Office Yard”.
